A Fly went into my refrigerator!

Damn it! I was dishing out some leftovers and watched this little fly bastard pop in and go straight to the back and behind all the stuff. It kept flying toward the front by the light but every time I would try and chase it out with my hand it went right back behind all the stuff.

I give up. Is my stuff going to be contaminated, do I need to throw it all away? This is just gross! :|

All your stuff should be covered.

Close the door. Wait a few minutes, remove the dead or too-cold-to-move fly.

OMG!! Suite up in level 5 bio-suit, clear out, and bleach your fridge immediately!!!

fuckin germaphobes:roll:

That's perfect. Close the door and let him freeze very fast. Or do you prefer it out in your house flying around for days getting all over everything?
Exactly. Insects have a high surface area-to-weight ratio, so they should lose heat quickly.

Incidentally, that's why you could drop an ant off a skyscraper, and it would hit the ground and run away. Lots of surface area = lots of wind resistance.
