A few questions on Star Wars Battlefront (XBox)

Bought Battlefront used from Gamestop, turns out they gave me Battlefront 2.

Not sure whether to be happy or not.

I'm a newb at Battlefront. Playing it w/ my 11-year old. Not crazy about having to follow "Order 66" and kill Jedi.

1) Is there anything that "makes" you "be a bad guy" in the original Battlefront?
2) Once we get past the "Knightfall" level, do we have to kill any more "good guys"? (I am assuming that the answer is 'yes'?)
3) How do you kill the Jedi anyway? They'ye kicking our butts. ;-)

Regarding #3, the best hints I read online said to be a Clone Commander and somehow call reinforcements/AI bots to gang up on the Jedi. Is that the best way?

I never played Battlefront II, but in the original Battlefront you could choose which faction you wanted to control. From my memory of 3 years ago, there were four groups led by Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Mace Windu or Count Dooku, respectively. If I remember correctly, there were short campaigns for each, so you could choose to only play as the teams led by Luke or Mace but you wouldn't see the entire game.
