Hello,
its time for me to upgrade, and I have a few questions.
I am going to go with the 1800+. Question is, I am not going to overclock, so will I be better off going with the retail box over oem? 3 year warranty is nice. Also, will the retail HSF be good enough if i am not overclocking? Finally, do I need a thermal compound if I get the retail HSF, or does it come with it?
A few more questions, can someone recommend a ps that will power this thing, plus 3 hdd's, a geforce 4 ti4200 (future upgrade), plus all the other regular system components? Can I get away with a cheaper ps if I am not overclocking the cpu (but probably the graphics card)? I would like to spend no more than $50 on the power supply.
Last question, when I purchase from NewEgg, and it says "Save $x.00 when you purchase this product with..." When does that money come off the total? I added the items to my shopping cart, but it does not show up then.
Thanks in advance for the help.
