Well title says it all hehe ... here goes

Gonna get the MSI k8n neo2 socket 939
Athlon64 0.09micron 3200+
Maxtor maxline III 250GB
Chenbro Gaming Bomb case
120mm papst case fan
92mm papst case fan
Zalman CNPS 7000B-Cu cpu cooler

Corsair 2*512mb 3200xl (2-2-2-5) perhaps the pro version
3200XL http://secure.newegg.com/app/C...=1&item=20-145-522
3200XLPRO http://secure.newegg.com/app/C...=1&item=20-145-524

Seasonic 400 or 460watt psu
400w http://secure.newegg.com/app/C...=0&item=17-151-018
460w http://www.newegg.com/app/View...=17-151-008&depa=0
(allready have monitor, gfx card and the other stuff hehe)

Question 1, if i want to overclock my cpu and the ram will i need the 460w super silence psu or can i do with the 400w super tornado psu? hope to get cpu to about 2.5-2.6ghz... And ram as high as i can go and keep the good timings and stability hehe

Question 2, will the audio on the motherboard eat to much cpu power, as in should i buy a creative audigy2 card of some version and put in? (porb just a value bulk version) Comp is mainly used for gaming..

Question 3 should i buy the pro version of the corsair 3200xl to get the build in heat sinks? or how much heatsink will i need on my ram to OC it?

And last should i buy the arctic silver 5 thermal compound for the cpu cooler, or will the compound that comes with it be good enough?

Thanks in advance for the help and feedback ;)

The 400w ST will be good enough. Even if you have a 6800U.

And I would go with a Super Lan Boy over the Chenbro. I have both, and replaced the Chenbro with another Super Lan Boy. Both can be rather silent with the HD brackets, but the design of the Chenbro will wear off, and you'll start thinking about painting it, or taking a Dremel to it and modifying the face plates.

Thanks for the info, and know the chenbro's looks are ... well not great but its a cheap case and allready using way to much money, so saving a bit there hehe.

Anyone know if audio on the motherboard will eat to much cpu power, as in should i buy a creative audigy2 card of some version and put in? (porb just a value bulk version) my computer is mainly used for gaming..

Also should i buy the pro version of the corsair 3200xl to get the build in heat sinks? (dont want to pay just for the flashy leds on the pro version) or how much heatsink will i need on my ram to overclock it?

Nemo you obviously mean very quiet as you have fans which can't be silent by definition. They move air causing turbulence making noise. HD's are also a source of noise. And CD/DVD roms are all insanly loud.

First dump the maxtor. They whine and make serious noise hashing to disk. You seriously could'nt give me one. Seagate shuld be first choice then samsung.

q1- you did'nt state your video card, if 6800 get the silverstone 460. If not get the seasonic 400. Either way stay far away from 80mm fanned PSUs. Another great option is super flower 14cm fanned option. Same maker as enermax = great 12V rail plus it has quiet low RPM 14cm fam.

q2- No stay on board .3% max

q3-Get PQI 2-2-2 cheaper and geat overclocking modules using TCCD

q4-AS is a joke. A good money maker but still a hoax. toothpaste has poven better. The key to good thermal interface is a very thin layer just to cover the microscopic vallys and dents between two subsrates. Use any compound provided,
