We went from the 8th to the 15th. It was pretty nice. Rained alot though so we spent alot of time in the camper and out around Gettysburg town. Thought I'd share a few pics...

Camper setup, it was the first trip for this thing.

My baby cookin' bacon over the campfire the first morning....mmmmm, BACON!

Nice covered bridge not far from the campsite.... The story is both the Union and Confederate armies burnt it down and it was rebuilt each time, amazingly it was used until 1994 until it became to unsafe and they restored it.

Another shot. Good picture actually. But I wish I could chop those broads out of the pic on the right.

Burgers over the campfire.....

Of course no trip to Gettysburg is complete without a trip to Boyds' Bears....

Inside the new visitors center, very nice. Pictures didn't come out, I'm not happy about that.

Another one that didn't come out. Ugh....

This one isn't too bad. I'm gonna crop it down to block out the window frame....

Not much to show. But there it is.

I recognize those trailer tire rims for the campfires. Did you stay at The Artillery Ridge Campground ? Thats a great place.

My family and I have beemn there many times. It is a great place to visit and Little Round Top as the sun is setting is one of the best places to be.

I also would like to travel to other campgrounds as well. I hear Vermont, Maine, upstate New York have some excellent sites....

PSA: The new Visitors center is VERY nice. They did a four year restoration on the Cyclorama painting that is SPECTACULAR. Before you go up to that you sit through a 20-ish minute film about Gettysburg narrated by none other than Morgan Freeman. Genius on the part of the people who made that decision. You should really see it.
