1. what are some of your favorite newsgroups?
2. how do you serve files on a newsgroup?
3. My ISP only allows 1GB/month downloading from newsgroups. Is there a good, cheap alternative?

1. a.b.m.e and a.b.w.uk.mp3 are good ones to start. The other ones can be found fairly easily using simple logic.

2. Download PowerPost. Add files to queue. Make sure it's the right group. Send. Wait.

3. Easynews is hands down the best usenet provider out there, but also one of the most expensive -- $9.95 for 30 days w/ 6GB limit.
Giganews is cheaper I think and also fairly good.
Usenetserver is cheap and a big favorite these days.
