as for the other guy. Well if it were anything more... It wouldn't be a sketch. Otherwise you are just jealous you can't bust out a spiderman in ink like I can.</end quote></div>

That's right. Everything is drawn poses from memory. No comic artist draws original poses. They sketch 1000's of poses until they learn every angle. That's right. I learned about 30 good poses per character. That's enough to do anything I want in a comic. Maybe not a cartoon, but comics only have very few original poses. Open any xmen comic. It's all been done. It's all recycled. So what? Not everyone can memorize the poses like I can. That's what makes a great artist. The attention to anatomy/scale/detail.

EDIT, for the record, I meant I have dozens of poses of various angles, all the same of *Wolverine's character* is what I meant.

Okay, I misunderstood what you were saying about the dozens of poses.

But I disagree with what you say about memorizing poses. Look at the last link I posted. There's a picture in there of Wolverine looking up at the sky. I drew that without having ever drawn wolverine or any other person/character in that pose before.

it's like this. FIrst you learn the basics. Profile, Front, back. Then the little adjustments. Looking up/down, left right. Forshortening, perspective. It's all in memory. Memory helps. And the best artists have action figures when they sketch to help them. I read that. Everyone sketches the same way. If you don't use memory, then your Wolverine is just some male figure in Wolverines clothing. The anatomy isn't right. Sit down and learn Wolverines clothing, muscles, hair, etc, who knows it will rock. Take your time. Use pencils then ink it. I'd like to see it.

What's wrong with the anatomy? Of the wolverine who's looking up at the sky, not the one with his claws out (that one sucks balls).

Oh damn! That's 2 tonight.

For the last time. You're eyes are NOT BLUE and NOT BROWN, they are craptacular hazel. Stop PMing me about your damned eye color. And NO, you do not look like Jessica Alba or Johnny Depp.

I can't draw shit so I find that impressive. But even more than your art, I find your personality overwhelming. I feel it is too big for this forum to contain.

By the way, advertising your dick in your signature is surely ban-worthy, don't you think?

The Wolverine one is clearly a copy job. Not worthy of putting your name next to it and not worthy of flaunting on the internet.</end quote></div>

Agreed. Casio, if you're going to talk smack, please learn to draw instead of reproducing characters in the same (copied) pose over and over.

More

These are things I've sketched (in ink as you like to point out) during meetings at work. Still have actual pictures which I spent as much time on as you probably did with your stuff that I can show you...

I want to see them. 🙂

the last drawing i've ever done... about 4 years ago. i don't like to draw.... it's boring.

when i was a kid, i pretty much only drew marvel characters. then, at about 7th grade, i got very bored with drawing and pretty much quit. the only times i drew after that was if i was extremely bored and moved about something i thought was worth drawing.</end quote></div>

How could this happen to meeeee?
I made my mistakessss,
got nowhere to runnn,
the night goes onnnn.

Nice drawing. However, I was expecting it to be a drawing of a marvel character that somehow touched you deeply.

How old are you? Depending on your age my answer to your question can range from "not that good" to "it's okay, keep practicing". They look more cartoony than comic book-y.</end quote></div>

Thats world supermodel Danny youre talking to! Hes in his 20s. Show some respect!

TOUCHE!
