A few iPhone Questions

I just got an iPhone last night and love it!

I got it at an AT&T store so I didn't get Apple Care. First off, can I get it after the fact direct from Apple? Do they offer student discounts? And is it worth it?

Is one case better than another? I got an Agent18 case, but it wasn't too expensive so if there is a better one out there I'd be willing to upgrade.

Is there a bluetooth headset that is better than another or are they all pretty much the same?

THanks.

You can get Applecare for your phone anytime within the first year of ownership. You can get it through Apple with a student discount or off Ebay. I don't use Ebay myself so I can't comment on how that would work and how much you can save.

I started using a Griffen case when I first bought my iPhone but it was a pain in the ass to get on and off so I switched to the inCase Slider and absolutely love it. I like to keep my phone in its dock and it's incredibly simple to do with the slider.

I'm also not a fan of bluetooth headsets so I can't help you there either.

Check out the case though. It's solid and really nice!

having had the original and now the iphone 3G, I don't believe the applecare is necessary. The phone is incredibly solid in its build quality so I don't anticipate any problems. Plus, phones are upgraded every 1-2 years so why bother spending more on something you will probably replace in a year or two anyway?
I don't like cases and prefer the clear films instead . . . .Invisible Shield, Body Guardz and Full Body Films all make front and back sets that protect the phone without adding to slim profile of the phone. I've prefer the back film of invisible shield and front anti-glare/fingerprint shield of Full Body Film but if you only want to go with one set, the FBF set does a good enough job. I have in car BT so can't help you there.

BlueAnt Z9 or Jawbone are the two best headsets.

Thanks for the tips. The skins seem like a cooler option, but I thought a case might offer a little drop protection...not sure how much tho.

As for AppleCare. I got it for $40 on ebay so I figured what the hell.

So the BlueAnt is a good headset? (not to hijack, sorry :) ). I have been considering getting one for my PS3 since it is one of the few headsets that I have found that supports being actively connected to more than 1 device at a time (so I can have it on my PS3 and phone at the same time)
