ordered 3 spice controllers, rogue leader, and luigi's mansions around 6 or so and just checked the order online. they cancelled everything but the copy of rogue leader. $5.95 for the game and $12.89 for shipping. hopefully i'll be able to cancel tomorrow morning before they ship it out.

My guess is they were probably slightly overstocked on these items and wanted to clear some back-stock, but I don't think they counted on the anandtech effect...

now they have to decide if they want to just cancel all the orders that they can't fill...

the one weird thing about the deal, if these orders are getting cancelled why not also pull the items from the site or raise the price instead of continuing to let people order and then go back and cancel...

oh well, crossing my fingers anyway (I have 4 controllers and 1 wavebird now, but the buttons on a couple of the controllers are getting pretty soft after many nights of multi-player button mashing! )

like everyone else before me, within 5 minutes of placing my order it shows cancelled on their website.
they are so efficient at cancelling orders, maybe have somebody put a little time into PULLING THESE ITEMS OFF THE SITE!

I ordered all the XBox games. Just checked the status and they were all canceled. I called the CSR and she said they were all "while supplies last" and a lot of the online orders were cancelled.

Get this. I ordered 3 games. They emailed me and cancelled two of them. The only one left was State of Emergency. I called them to cancel the order since I couldn't see the sense in paying almost $10 shipping for a single, $6 game. The nice CSR said the game was already shipped by the time I called. I asked her if I could refuse the shipment and get a full credit. She said, "Well, how about if we just credit you for the shipping and you keep the game?" No complaints here. Crappy game but for $6 and free shipping, I give props to PCConnection.

I don't think a company deserves props for cancelling certain items in an order and charge the same s/h fees without notice.

I need more game for PS2. Right now I have only 2 games and I had PS2 for like 2 years already. It collect dust pretty good though. *hehehe*
