I'm not a right winger. But Perry looks presidential, comes from texas, and 10+% of america will vote for palin just because she's a woman.

You're probably right Fern, but I'd class it more as an "pulling the media's chain just because I can" ego trip. It's a good object lesson as it tells volumes about the pathetic nature of so-called news reporting. It's also a great marketing tool for Palin by pumping up the value of her brand. Except a new book, TV show or something shortly.

BTW any GOP ticket with Palin on it in any capacity WILL be a dream ticket. But not the GOP's dream.
