I'm trying to get this domain name, but unfortunately the .com and .net versions of it are both taken, but are not "used", as in they are not actual sites. The name that I'm trying to get has 2 words in it, and I'm wondering if I should register the name with a dash between it?

The thing is, you know if you try to advertise it, (verbally), you will always have to say dash, and sometimes people won't remember the dash and just go to the wrong domain.

Or, will it not matter because verbal advertising is useless and content is more important, therefore if you have good content, and an overall good site, despite having a dash in the name you will be ranked higher (google-wise).
