Gothic 4, this game is really cool so far. Im really enjoying it, like it way better than fable, exspecially since the art direction for the 2nd one took a dive in the wrong direction. Anyhoo, I picked my copy up for 10 bucks at wally world and love it. Anyone else played it? Its come ALONG way since the first one, it actually controlls well.

I kinda played it but it is really different from gothic 3 and risen. Risen is good but I dont have time to sink into it or gothic 3... maybe one day.

Interesting you like it. It's also on sale for $10 at Steam (I avoid giving the Walton family more money). It got only a 63 on metacritic, but if you like it, that's what matters.

Not the first time a good game for some people gets a bad rating.

I'll take another look - there's a nice spot behind 16 other RPG's waiting.

Game $10; Game+guide $20; or game+(low rated) expansion $15.

I played it immediately after playing Risen. I loved Risen and was hungry for another good open world RPG. This wasn't it. Bad dialog, character animations weren't great, combat system was okay but not enough to keep me interested, character development was terrible, magic system not impressive, quests boring and uninspired. Honestly just an awful game all around.

I enjoyed it when I played it. I paid full price for it (50 dollars)

Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga is a better game though. As is Two Worlds 2.
