It's really, really easy. See, those people, the ones you are concerned about, the ones you write letters about when you aren't shakin' at some boy at a rave, or drinking a latte, or gabbing online? They're Not My Problem. I don't give a whit about them.
Now the people close to me, that handful of people in my life. Those people matter. They get my undivided compassion and support. Most of those people are "nobody" to anyone else. But I take care of them. Take care of the people you know and you'll find out that some of those people know other people, like vice presidents and heads of state. Or maybe they just have family in Bangladesh.
