A Democrat's perspective on the financial crisis

Card is a Democrat who has a much different and refreshingly honest assessment of today's journalism or at least what passes for it now. He specifically addresses the current financial crisis but his remarks could be extended to other matters as well.

While I agree with much of what he says, I also think the Republican Congress of the late 90's was spineless in acquiescing to the relaxation or rather changing of the regulatory environment which led to today's problems.

Shockingly, Card was also Pro-Bush/Cheney.

Also, his statement has been debunked many times.
