Hello,
I was thinking about buying another Compucase LX-6A19 - I love the amount of bays you have for hard drives - I typcally put in two optical, one floppy, and at least three hard drives. I like the fact that you can easily remove the entire hard drive bays as well.
The only issue I have on my next rig is that so many video cards are rediculously long such as the 3870x2. I want to be sure I have no problems with long video cards should I get one and the Compucase LX-6A19 is at least two inches too shart if I get a long card.
Anyone here recommend a similar case but with a greater depth? I believe the Compucase LX-6A19 is about 17" deep.
I'll be looking for one without any doors as I tend to rip those off so I can easily get to the optical drives at all times.
Thanks
In summary - ideal case
1 - One color - I hate the half silver/half black white
2 - DEEP - ideally at least 19" deep for longer video cards
3 - removable drive cages. I really find it much easier to work on perhaps if it is deep that won't be as critical.
4- reasonable price - I'd like it to max out at $150 - the compucase LX-6A19 goes for about $40 - if they made the same case only 2" deeper I'd buy it again in a second.
I'm not too concerned about the fans or power supply as I use my own to make it quieter.
