A couple of power supply questions...

My antec 300 Watt ps just died recently and I wrote to their RMA dept. They said they need the serial number, along w/some other info. Am I correct to assume that the serial number is the number located below the big "S" with the circle around it?
Also, just to verify that it's my power supply that died and nothing else: Unfortunately, I don't have another ps lying around to swap and test. When I plug in the power cord (system is turned off) the light on the network card lights up, but obviously the system doesn't turn on when I push the power button. Also, none of the fans turn on either. Any feedback will be appreciated, thanks.

Your mobo might be fried if you still have juice to your network card.

Does the fan on the power supply turn on?

Isn't the network card light always on?

Nope.

It takes electricity to light up the card. I was under the impression that if you machine was off the card wasn't lit up.

But if the fan doesn't turn on the power supply, it is the power supply. It could have gotten too hot and seized.
