Ohh and BTW, I got a Iomega USB HD and it didn't work right. I took it back and got on the Newegg External Enclosure deal and it works great!

I have a 4200 and it will run most games fine, even games like Unreal II. You might not be able to run it at extreme resolutions with eveything turned on, but a 4200 card is a decent gaming card....(especially for $70!!!)
(anyway, I am just waiting for a 9800 pro)![]()

Ah so the memory speed was the same, so I guess that is a good thing, so just look for ones without the 64 crushes 128 sticker? If I purchase this on say saturday, would i be able to return later the next week and get the 60 dollar instant rebate refunded to me?

i'm building a system now, and am wondering if i should get the 9500 pro (cost at store is 178 - 20 MIR) or if i should save a few bills and get the 4200. If i can get it for 70-80 bucks w/o rebates through a PM, i think i will go 4200. I just need to run a few games, and doom 3 won't be one of them, so i should be fine with the 4200.
You buy 9700 pro for X dollars (lets say 300), and the $40 dollar TAP (i think it is 40 for that price tier.) One year later, you bring your card back and you can get store credit for your card valued at X dollars. If the card you want is $350 (Radeon 10000 or whatever), you pay 50 bucks for it. You can do the same thing with PDA's. I had a guy come in the other day with a 1.5 year old Jornada he paid 650 bucks for. He walked out with the HP 5455 for $50 bucks that day. Just make sure you talk to the front end manager to make sure they allow TAP to be used that way...its not offficial but most stores accept it that way.
