A cool pillow for those who travel a lot...

Has anything on Kickstarter ever been made ever? It really just seems to be a scam-funnel that no one seems to see.

And no thanks on the half-a-neckbrace pillow.

Yep, I've received two things thus far.

But, on the flipside, I did have one kickstarter go south about halfway into their deliveries to the backers. A call to my CC company credited it right away.

Plenty of stuff has been released that was on Kickstarter.

So you just have the CC company eat the cost and thus pass it on to everyone else, real nice. When you back a Kickstarter that is part of the risk of doing so and are made of aware of before you put money up. I'm surprised your CC did it and didn't deny you since you signed up knowing it was possible to not receive anything.

Saw that the other day, would love one!

Build in a headset & I'm ready for my weekly IT meetings :awe:

Tabletop gaming is pretty good with established producers. One of my backings is actually shipping about 2 months ahead of schedule (Zombicide Season 2...yay!)

I was actually interested since I'm always flying around the country...I don't have any problems falling asleep as it is, but it would be nice if it were more comfortable to do so. That said, another corny intro that hardly shows the product later and I'm back to sleeping on planes without any devices. If I have to dig to find a halfway decent picture of the thing and in different situations, then no thanks.

Ehh, I guess I should explain. I found a wallet that had been kickstarted, purchased it on their own website (which wasn't kickstarter), then they later caved in after sending out a fraction of their wallets to kickstarter backers.

So technically it wasn't through kickstarter.

As for passing on the cost to others, I never felt that way about credit cards. Insurance fraud, sure, we all lose out, but CC companies?

Yes but is it cooler than Billy Dee Williams?

When you explain it like that, I understand and it makes sense. CC just spreads the cost in other ways, fees, less incentives, raise interest rate. They aren't eating the cost without making up for it in some way either through existing things or new ones when it becomes more of a problem.

Damn, I actually had this idea a couple of years ago. I'm not going to pledge money but I'll buy one if it makes it to market.

I use a horse-shoe shaped one on my 1.5 hour trek to and from work. It works great as long as you can recline the seat for enough but it's too thick to use with a seat in the upright position.
