A Conservative Case for Voting Democratic

I have my preferences that I feel are less biased than others.

FoxNews is a great source of information though that covers many stories I see buried on other sites.
So yes, I check them out every once in a while.

I mostly rely on my college newspapers and linked stories from those sites.

Theres a liberal paper that is the main college one and an alternative conservative one. Between both I get enough of both sides to understand how each think.

I happen to agree with the conservatives though. At least in this day and age.
I could see myself not being Republican in years past, but since my coming onto Earth, since Reagan I've been MUCH more convinced by the sincerity of the Republican party.

I dont like the idea of abortion (cutting holes in babies heads and sucking their brains out), and I dont like the idea of gay marriage for multiple reasons. I'm also a weak Christian, but I'm definitely not a secularist.
Plus I believe in a strong military.. I'm pretty much a Republican and I dont see that changing until the party itself changes.

I dont see alot of conviction (in my lifetime) in the Democratic party. They tend to just disagree with Republicans and take the opposite stance that the conservatives take.. least thats what Ive noticed.

I'd probably be more likely to join people like Nader before the Dems.. I go for conviction.

Thats what attracts voters like me, Bush stands strong in the face of all of you haters. I admire, and vote for that. Nader does the same.

You know things are bad for Bush when Busta Rhymes starts chanting "FSCK BUSH" at a concert.......

Nothing different than in 1992 I was at a Pearl Jam concert and Eddie sputs off "If Bush is re-elected I'm leaving this country and never returning!"

Of course, he's still here 🙂

Well, Bush wasn't re-elected in 1992, was he?

Case closed.

Guess he's lowered his standards 😉

That article is right on. I would not want Kerry with a Democrat congress either, but what's happening right now is out of control spending and reckless deficits. It's shameful. I think there is a debate to be had between small and large government and associated small or large tax burden. But to offer large government with a small tax burden is a false choice and a recipe for future disaster.
