A computer hardware Role Playing Game!

Just imagine it, a hardware RPG! Everyone loves either Diablo2 or CS, so how about combining the two with everyone's favorite hobby - computers!

Ok, so you start off with some Pentium60, 1meg vid card, and 4megs of RAM. You slowly work your way up, by fighting other computer geeks, and get better and better hardware!

The one thing that drives us all to buy more hardware, is the necesity to upgrade! This way, we could take out all of our upgrade-related "issues", and have fun doing so while saving money!

Post some more ideas for this aspiring new game, and hopefully Sierra or Blizzard gets the idea 🙂

were all teenagers right? cuz an older man would just spend a paycheck and be a lvl 23 Intel race, gamer class.

Here are some other ideas to get started
RACES: Intel, AMD,...
PROGRESSION RANK: MHZ and Product family (celeron, duron, p3, etc...)
CLASS: Gamer, music enthusiast, college student, programmer, hacker, etc.
MORAL TRAITS: earn the money? or steal the hardware?

Now you can make every class compete differently.
Gamer - Multi-player competitions
Music Enthusiast - records his/her own music on the computer
College Student - grades and number of ppl on your AIM list

I dunno just some ideas. 🙂

Hehe, CPU brands shouldn't determine alignment.

Add the OVERCLOCKER CLASS: requirements(sp?) include extended study of temperature and lots and lots of money.
