A Clockwork Orange

Wow... I have heard how this movie was so good, and it has like good reviews on all sites.

Man... I want my 2-3 hours back. That was the most annoying, retarded, pointless movie ever.

Even from a philosphocal view, the movie is extremely pointless.

Aight, I'm done.

Certain movies get so hyped it's impossible but to hate them afterwards. Examples for me: Requiem for a dream, mulholland drive.

Were they good movies? Don't know. Did I hate them because of the hype? Surely.

Clockwork orange I first saw before hearing the hype for it, so I had a less expecting impression of it.

I'm sure you know most people will disagree with you considering it's #71 on IMDB's all-time user rankings.

I like it, but it's not for everyone.

Dude, I am 11... I have more than a few years.

When I saw a clockwork orange as a 13-year-old kid I thought it was the coolest movie I'd ever seen, more or less because of the ultraviolence...
When I saw it at age 19 I way more disgusted/offended as I was more able to understand the reality of the actions (beating a bum/rape).
I read the book, which I thought was much better than the movie... and I kind of wish I could have read it without having seen the movie beforehand.

I am sorry they do ratings for people of normal intelligence....maybe if the PC police dumb us all down a little bit more the ratings will include the slightly retarded.

I have recently borrowed it from a friend but have not watched the entire thing yet. However of the parts I did see there was a lot of nudity. I bet this was a REALLY risque movie in it's day.

It sucked, just like Citizen Kane, The Godfather, Schindler's List, Casablanca, Lawrence of Arabia, etc. sucked, right? RIGHT?!

after hearing about the hype, i went out and bought Requiem for a Dream dvd even though i hadn't seen it. it was a great movie, and money well spent.

I just thought it was kind of pointless. Drugs are bad, but I knew that before hand.

I did like the lesbian-bum scene though.

Most people like movies for reasons other than yours: "OMG LOOK! BOOBIES! HEHEHEHEHE!"

Your judgement about movies sucks.

Fine. Want me to come out and say it?

Anyone who thinks A Clockwork Orange is a good movie is a moron.

There, I said it. Now all the real morons can flame me.

A Clockwork Orange is a very good movie, if you look at it as a message, not as much as a film.

I saw it at 15, as did a few mates (3 or 4 of us) and we all thought it was a great film, we understood it (understanding it helps a lot towards appreciation) and it's just a great film.
