If you read the results thread, you find out that Corvette dude spun the tires (not once but twice, including from a rolling 20mph start) and clearly can't drive.
Just goes to show, it's not the car, it's the driver. Anyway, I think it's hilarious, but then I drive an Integra.

There was also this guy on Honda-Acura.net who regularly autoX with his Civic Si, went to an AutoX event created by his local Corvette/Viper club and beat everyone except 2 cars (so came in 3rd I think)...

And his Civic was mostly stock too, no crazy turbo or NOS

Sorry, but any 95 or later civic is WAYYYYY better looking than a c5. The ass on the c5 is pretty damm disgusting.

Doesnt change the fact I'd rather drive a c5 over a civic, but the C5's design isnt that great, IMO.

There's no question that the Corvette driver sucked but after looking through the whole first thread I noticed that TurboCivic's car ran like 12 second quarter miles... so he probably would have beat the Vette driver no matter what. The Vette driver even said he thinks TurboCivic threw the last race (the rolling 60mph one) so that he could hustle some other unsuspecting Vette drivers out there or something...

franky? a lexus or something.. better looking and more practical then both. i dunno, to me bragging about your 1/4 mile seems seems almost juvinile, if your gonna do it then make a monster car that will never be your daily driver money is better spent on making your womans engine purr

WHAT??? Dude you should have your eyes checked . Civic looks like your grandpa's sedan, corvette is all out sports car.

On the other hand, i suppose civic is a lot better deal for a daily driver - parts and service are chap and you cant beat the gas milage.


Anyhoo i still think 400hp corvette would own that civic, if the guy knew how to drive
