As a Christian I can appreciate the article's humor, but the entire site seems to be aimed at mocking Christians and Christianity. Anybody else wonder about the mentality of someone who would dedicate so much time and energy solely to hating something? How would everybody feel if this guy's target was Buddhists or Jews or Blacks? The fact that Christianity moved him so much to dedicate a site to mocking it, should tell him something. If something truly strikes you as stupid you're apathetic to it, you don't feel the threatened need to be spiteful towards it.
But, anyway, the article would have been funnier if it ended after two paragraphs, I think we all got the point by then and it was just the same recycled shtick after that.
When the inauguration of the president includes numerous references to God and an entire section devoted to prayer, some might say that the secularists are justified in feeling threatened.
Dude...
this is the USA... UNDER FREAKING GOD is a part of our culture...
it will never be completetly removed..
I dont believe in any god anywhere... and yet I have no problem with it...
The Military, the Government all still tie god to alot of things...
there were Prayer segments at my gradulation from bootcamp, incoming and outgoing Commanding Officers.. and many other Military formal events..
you just zone out and think about what you want to think about...
whats the big deal about all this....
if a die hard athiest has no problem with it why cant the rest of the World accept other cultures and traditions for what they are.. words.. and words only.. its only offensive if you let it be...
