but it didnt work out..... some bastard moved on her too, so maybe shes confused now (or maybe she changed my mind about me after all 🙁 )

Man, never go overboard on the flowers. I never spend more then $25 delivered in the rare event I do get flowers.

when she wants to hang out, make yourself unaccessible (hang out w/ friends, do something else). a few things should happen. she'll realize your moving on without her, and it didnt bother you, so she might gain interest and see that your life doesnt revolve around her, or, itll help you move on and forget about her. you wont believe what playing gta: vice city did for my friend who went through something like this. a few hours into the game blowing crap up, and he was becoming his old insulting-self once again.

edit: btw, what kind of flowers? i dish out $10 to the mexican-place right down the street for a doz. long-stem red roses. $60, wow. kno what that can buy you?!?! 120 tacos at jack-n-the-box!! (or 60 tacos and 30 chicken sandwiches)
 
I don't remember anymore, it was about a year ago. I think I found a coupon somewhere as well. The girl loved 'em and said they lasted forever as well, like more then 2 weeks.

So, the flowers were to get you a girlfriend instead of give her a birthday presant? Do you give gifts only to people who you expect something in return from?

WHAT??? NO!! of course she knows that I gave her flowers because I care.. not just to get a girlfriend!!!
I said so about the flowers because I expected that she would care for me too... NOT BECAUSE I regret about having to pay for it....
 
btw, never go the flower route unless its pretty much a done deal. flowers die quickly, and did any1 watch last weeks fm nation? guy got her flowers and then started talking about ships, next thing you know, he was greeting a wooden door after he got shot down. flowers are nice, but guys are always quick to play the flower card. if it was b-day, being creative is the key. not shooting down your technique, just offering my own 2 cents into matter. it happens. happens a thousand times a day to thousands of guys. most of those guys will mope about it for the rest of the week. the other small percentage let it go and live their life like nothing happened. the latter choice sounds better to me...

I see how it is! Some stupid men want to rush women into relationships. But the women say they just want to be friends, and then the stupid men get mad at you and regret things they bought for you pretending to be your friend. You should try out a relationship with those women who don't like to keep gifts from men once it's over or when they're not interested in the man. As for me, if you spend your sorry a** showering me with gifts, besides scaring the living hell out of me as far as a relationship, I'll have those gifts staying with me and enjoy them. And you'll never get what you want from me.
 
similar situation happened to me...liked a girl...so did a close friend of mine. We both fought over her...she didn't like him. I won her...but lost his friendship...so i got rid of her. I was crazy over that girl. I wasted sooo much money on her ass.

Friendship > girl
