VR605 $87.50

Ground shipping is free but they do tack on a $5.95 "handling" charge

I also saw this Denon receiver but it doesn't seem to be in stock.

EDIT: They have another better Kenwood receiver for $99.99 but no free shipping it appears

I bought a kenwood refurbished reciever one time and some of the speaker outs didn't work 🙁 Great price, I just hate taking chances on refurbished stuff if it's over $50. Thanks though yellowperil, I'll keep it in mind!

Ground shipping is supposed to be free on both but ecos is screwing you on the 6050. The free shipping does not relate to product. It's an offer on all $50+ orders but they aren't giving it with the 6050. They could say it's due to the 6050's weight, but it's almost identical to the 605's weight.

It seems all of these have a frequency range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz.

Is the lack of low end frequency going to be noticable? Any one have experience with these?

I have a decent sub I want to hook up is why. :music: :music:

I have the Sherwood and am completely satisfied. It's hooked up to 5 NHT speakers and a home built transmission line sub. I used to be into audio but then got married and my electronics budget was slimmed down... It might not have all the features of the more expensive stuff but the home theater sound is great.

Just bought this Onkyo from One Call for $172 after shipping. Refurb refers to cosmetic blemishes on this unit not "mechanical" problems. IT works great...I'd by another refurb from these guys.

Edit--sorry it looks like the price is back up to $299 :frown:

I was interested as I want to upgrade from my Pro Logic only STR-G3 but apparently I'll have to spend more when I want to do that. My Sony has 4 S Video inputs and 1 S-Video monitor. Use the S-video for a few things I have plugged in although my component goes straight from my DVD player to my TV currently. Long & short, I need more inputs than this unit has, oh well.
