A+ certification

What should you get?

Depends. Going into networking or administration? Get MCSE.
Going into data side of IT? Get MCSE if possible and your Cisco if they use it.
Page design? Programming? Get a degree.

Not to thread crap but what good is an A+ Certification.

I have yet to find a Job where it is required or requested. I am A+ Certified and had I known there is little you can do with it I would have saved my money.

The testes are expensive so find out for sure if you need this or just want it.

I just finished my A+ class two weeks ago. I took the hardware test and thought I smoked it. I have yet to take the software test though. I'm a little leary about it. But I hope to get it over with before mid June.

I got a few picture questions. One of mine was.. Point to the place where the proccesor goes. It was a big fat slot1 board. I crammed hard for all the printer and maw and lan and wan crap and only got a few easy ones.... Oh well.

Also take your time. Double check yourself even if your 100% sure..
