Hey everybody!

I am pretty knowledgable about computers but I have little experience. I am working in my college's IT department getting some xp and many have recommended that I get an A+ Certification. They increase my pay (with the certification) but I don't know if I am going to be able to continue to attend school there because of tuition bills. I was wondering if anyone could recommend whether or not I should get an A+ Certification?

I am certainly no joe who wants knows nothing about computers and is entering the field because "it pays well". This is the kind of stuff I love learning working with.

Please help me out,

Certs can't hurt, that's the way I look at it :)
The fact that you have the paper is more important than the paper in your case, as it is in many peoples cases. You, judging by your response, know (quite?) a bit about comps, so I doubt you'd need to take the classes, just study and go for the exam.
