IF, and I stress, IF this is accurate there's no justifying it. What's worse is if it is those people just lost their votes.

I still have a difficult time buying it but it's the office itself saying it in what seems to be an attempt at (maybe sympathy. Maybe pushing this whole rigged election narrative) and anger but they themselves are the ones to blame if ballots were there.

I'm sure its perfectly legal and a very simple vector for actual fraud to occur on a much larger scale than in person voter impersonation which is what all the ID laws are supposed to stop.

well, duh! but absentee voting generally benefits republicans, so that has never been targeted for fraud. Because reasons.

Completed absentee ballots are supposed to be returned to your voting district supervisor of elections with no go between except the U.S. Postal Service so if they actually possessed completed ballots they must have broken the law in order to get them.

Look at the author on both, it's the same article. One on CNBC one on NBC. And I should have been specific that I was referring to the article linked in post #35.

The 2nd version of the article added the bold

"North Carolina Republican Party spokeswoman Emily Weeks told NBC News that the office is totally unusable and that materials inside, possibly including completed absentee ballots, may have been destroyed. (Weeks later clarified that the ballots were not stored at that office.)"

8pm: watch old episode of 6 ft Under with the Missus.
9:10pm: Open 4th beer of the night
9:30pm: terrorize the cat
9:58pm: CENSORED
10pm: pass out
12am: wake up, realize that I missed SNL. Fap to internet porn
1am: cry softly inside after learning that Ken Bone is a perv
1:10am: look up JLaw nudes
2am: go back to sleep.

im sure it was some random low level gop dude who thought it would sound good to say the ballots were destroyed. Either they lied about that and they dont have any ballots there or they are breaking the law and committing fraud. Either is plausible.
