A case for beer, and against AA.

No not angry atheism, alcoholics anonymous.

So some alcoholics believe beer is harmful.

Harmful enough to necessitate stopping at almost nothing to squash it.

This case will protect your beer.

My case for beer is also called a refrigerator. It works well, however, it does not protect the beer from being drank.

Some of the best beer cases are the ones distributers use to send bottles to bars and restaurants. It's made of industrial strength cardboard that nearly doubles as thin plywood. They have the same folding flaps like that one with built in dividers. Those things survive A LOT of abuse.

Where can I get some of these?

just because I have no tolerance for stupidity today:

That is liquor, not beer
AA has never fought to, said it wanted, or implied that it wanted alcohol of any kind to be banned.

Have fun with your ignorance.
Folks with similar beliefs have worked hard to keep beer out of our schools. So what if kids drink a little beer? Where is the harm in that?

I actually think more exposure to things is a good thing. If you try to hide beer from a kid, they will naturally be drawn to it. If they have been around it their whole life, they will not see it as any big deal.

lil rudeguy is 2 days away from 17 and he has zero interest in drinking. I would like to think my raging alcoholism did some good 😀

I thought this thread was gonna be about the program they started in the Netherlands where they pay alcoholics in beer (partly, a little cash too) for working for the city. I guess that's the "progressive" line of thinking on alcoholism. lulz

This plus some extra insults for the OP. 'Ignorance' is a terrible understatement. 'Talking out your ass' is more appropriate.

I don't like the die-hard 'classic' AA that is all about the book, doing steps, all the little cliched mantras, whatever. And where I live, that's usually mixed with heavy Christianity.

But there are also pockets of AA that are full of atheists and agnostics. Generally intelligent people that do not live their lives based on catchphrases. I like this group.

The point being- even the former group of Bible Thumpers doesn't argue for prohibition or anything,

I think there is some truth in this. Both my parents smoked when I was growing up. They have now quit, but my 2 sisters and I never smoked. Didn't have an interested in it.

I know I have a drinking problem, so I don't drink. I don't consider myself an alcoholic nor would I smash someone's beer because of my own issues.

I'd save him a seat just incase.

OP was just making a case . . . for puns . . . about cases. 😉
