Changing the Default Receice Window is nothing new at all. In fact it is the only tweak you should do. The better setting for the defaultrcvwindow would be "32767" IMO.

all kidding aside, is there any reason cable/dsl modem tweaks wouldn't work on dedicated T3 connections. Is there a difference in how things work for cable/dsl modems as opposed to a T3.

Will try this on my DSL connection as soon as I get home. I am pretty sure I have already set the DRW to 32767 though, but I will let you know if this high of a setting will further increase my speed.

Bad new I think the setting worked great last night, but I just go home from work and now Im have big time packet loss and supper slow speeds Im going to remove the setting and see if that helps.

Did it already. Didn't help much at all. Of course, my cable internet connection itself doesn't seem to be too hot. My upload speeds would sually be better on a dial-up modem.

I went from 320.4 kbps to 344.8 kbps using the original #...

I then used formulav8's # and got 529.9 kbps ...

Mine is set to 513920 and i get like 2.5 - 4.0 Mbps on the testsite above !!!

Im back the hack does work it was @homes gateway that was having problems.

Um... I tweaked it... the numbers did increase. I changed the values back... the numbers remained increase. I didn't really feel an increase in speed... but rather just the numbers increase from those bandwidth measuring sites. what's going on?

Always make sure you restart computer for reg changes to take affect

I restarted it... and went to that bandwidthplace.com/speedtest thing... similar results as after tweak.
