I've been considering getting off my butt and getting my A+ certification, seeing as my employer will pay for it if I pass the test. What I want to know what, if any, are some good, up-to-date books with software (sample tests) to buy? I know the compTIA site has some recommended ones, but there are so many I don't know what a good one would be. Has anyone had any good experiences with any?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated...Thanks

I would check www.amazon.com - Stay away from any "for Dummies" or "for idiots" books.

I would focus on getting a book with loads of practice tests...

This is the one that's recommended most often. It comes with a CDrom:

"All In One A+ Certification Exam Guide", fourth edition,

Michael Meyers,

McGraw-Hill/Osborne,

ISBN 0-07-222274-3, $60.

Check Amazon.com.
