Ok, I just got most of my new computer parts in, and I decided to go with the nForce2 chipset like most of you guys recommended. However, upon recieving my parts, I noticed that the HSF I got ( the CoolerMaster HHC-001 ) is extremely heavy. Is it ok to put this much weight upon my XP 2600/333 without a shim? Secondly, the nForce2 board I purchased was the Leadtek Winfast k7ncr18d Pro. If you have seen it or own it, you can see that a line of capacitors is very close to the CPU socket. The HHC-001 has heat pipes that will have to move the capacitors slightly out of their normal position. Again, is it feasible and/or safe to do this? I really don't want this board to blow up on me or burn out. Thanks in advance.
