A big FU to the news channels that don't show soccer highlights

So, I came back from the Red Bulls game where their goalie scored a goal. It's was amazing and hardly ever happens in soccer. I've maybe seen it happen 1 other time. Well, I taped the news on 3 channels and none of them had any soccer highlights. I'm so sick of soccer not getting any attention.

Anyway, just had to rant. Goodnight!

haven't you seen the HD tv commercials where the guy says "when you say football, does that include soccer?" and all the people laugh? yeah they're laughing at you guy...

any sport that is low scoring and can end in a tie (don't talk about the NFL here, yes i know it is possible, and has happened ONCE in the past what, 20 years?) isn't that interesting. Why do you think hockey only has somewhat of a cult following, and thats only because fighting is allowed

True. I'm not much into hockey, but it's definitely better to watch live in person than on TV.
 
Wow, that was pretty sweet. Usually those things happen at the end of the game with the losing team's goalie becoming an extra attacker. He just caught the other goalie off guard.

i WILL agree with you on this. I'd NEVER watch hockey on TV, but i've gone to a few live hockey games, even though they were minor league, and MAN they make it entertaining

If that was the case, then I think it would have been a sweet play. The other goalie just misplays it. The ball must have been in the air for a few seconds. The opposition keeper should have had plenty of time to adjust. He just misplayed it.
 
i've played soccer all my life and i don't care about professional soccer. why? cause they're a bunch of pussies who purposefully try to draw fouls instead of playing the whistle.
 
Because the highlight of a soccer game is when its over not really news worthy. A goalie scored and thats a highlight? How bad do you have to suck to let a goalie score. . .
