A Beer Thread!

Picked up a few bottles of this.

This is a terrific Belgian style ale. You have to be thirsty to finish a bottle (750 ml) which is fairly potent.

Highly recommended if you can find it!:thumbsup:

Not hard to find here in Germany but i only drink Heineken.

You're in Germany and drinking Heineken rather than Hefe Weisse? I'd choose a Paulaner or Franziskaner way before Heineken. BTW, Prost! :beer:

yeah that Paulaner is great. a few places used to sale it around here.

Wish i could find it again. darn good beer

ahaha well when I hear the word case I automatically think of a 30 pack, thats what we refer to as a case

we don't buy anything in quantities less than 30, usually it involves multiple cases actually heh

hopefully this summer we'll make the switch over to kegs instead

I'm not really from Germany, i am originally from Finland, dunno why i got stuck on Heineken but i just did.

Herf Weisse you say, ok, will get a few of those and try them out. More of a single malt man really but summer is coming and when you bbq meat beer is the drink of choice.

Ahhh here they have an 18 and a 24....I thought one of those was a case, not sure which though.

Pretty much every liquor store here has Paulaner. It should be available in Illinois as well.

Nope. it used to be sold at the local store. But they quit about 5 years ago.

I looked up on paulner's site (they list who sales it) and the closest was in clinton Iowa (about 2 hours away). not many places sale it out here.

but hey if anyone in IL knows a place let me know!

edit: everyone here has hacker-pasher (whatever its called, made by the same people). but nobody carries paulener anymore. darn shame too. its a great beer.

Do you mean Hacker Pschorr? If you can't find Paulaner, try looking for Spaten, it's good stuff also. Good luck finding your beer 🙂

yeah hacker pschorr. the bit 22 oz beer (well thats how they serve it here)
