Been working on it on and off since January, haven't done any relatively high resolution renders yet, so here's the first one.

The plan is to make a widly complex looking computer, and have some random dude trying to use it. The robot won't be there in the final version, I just kind of threw him in the other night for something to do.

Cinema4D with Vray rendering engine.

Nice!

Post it over at 3DBuzz, they'll appreciate it and/or give good criticism on it. It has always been my dream to make stuff like that, but I lack the patience and Artistic ability. :(

I usually do post around 3D related forums. Just figured I'd share this one here, since there's not one of us here that would turn down this rig.

Any reason? Or just for fun? If it's just for fun, that's impressive dedication. I imagine something like that takes a lot of work.

Yup, just for fun. Eventually it'll be a 2-3 animated clip, but yeah, it takes time, so progress is sometimes slow.

Why didn't you just ask for a photo? Every AT'er has that exact same setup at home ;)

I bet a robot would be better with a track ball. This is really cool- I'd be interested in periodic updates.

I'll be focusing more on lighting once the entire scene is modeled. Thanks for the advice though.
