What the flip is going on with this site lately?? Yesterday it was x's where images were supposed to be and just code showing in other places. Now just long lines?

This is why I use the internet and avoid going outside, no long lines :awe:

I guess this is the ultimate repost, when the whole board is the same lol

Weird. Well I'm on chrome if it matters to anyone who works here.

Yesterday someone else was posting the different errors but they got it fixed eventually and notified us. Wonder what is going on today.

I've been having the same issues as the OP. I have to keep clicking refresh to get the forums to respond, otherwise the page only half loads.
 
Pretty sure this is a Chrome thing. I've seen it hear as well as other sites. No idea what the cause/fix is as nothing on Google about it. It comes and goes, I just close Chrome, rinse, repeat and its normal again.

Just wanted to assure you that you may not be crazy. But please don't take this as any confirmation that you are in fact not crazy.
 
I may have an answer for you.

Did you, by chance, disable DirectWrite in Chrome flags when the forums were doing other crazy stuff and looking weird a short while back?

I did and I just checked the setting, it was still disabled. I reset my flags to default which re-enabled DirectWrite and the forums look fine so that earlier issue must be resolved. Perhaps this is the cause of the horizontal line issue?

No way to be sure other than if I never see it again this may have fixed it.
 
I haven't touched anything at all. Never messed with anything with Directwrite or flags. I run a clean browser with just an adblock plus add on.

Hmm, I have adblock going as well. Maybe that's the issue?
