___ Which HANK WILLIAMS III CD to buy? ___

I'm buying one of them for my step-dad. I like the Hanks, but haven't followed #3.
Which of his CD's should I git?

1. Risin' Outlaw
2. Lovesick, Broke & Driftin'

Come on fans, help me out!


[Edit] Wow I just listened to some clips from each. The production quality of "Risin' Outlaw" sounds pretty low. Does the actual CD sound as bad, or is it just the linked clips?

There's a 3rd? I didn't know that.

It seems the quality of each Hank Williams n is equal to the nth root of 8 on a scale of 1-10.

I had to nerd that up somehow, but I'm being serious. Hank Sr was pretty good, Jr was better than terrible, but III is, well, he sucks.

Too bad you don't live here. He just played the county fair the other night. Two shows. Admission was free if you paid the $5 to get into the fair. Can't say that I made it, though.

Just to clarify, I'm not looking for an opinion of Hank III himself. It's a done deal that I'm buying one of his CD's.
I'd like opinions on WHICH of his TWO CD's is the better choice

Looks like the "3rd" is with All the Hanks.

Well, of the two, I like Rising Outlaw better. The second one just seems fake. I dunno, just my impression.
