___ "Software Installation and Maintenance" __ XP Pro __?

I've looked over the XP Pro & Home version comparison chart. The Home version seems to be a good fit for me.
But I'm curious about what you Pro users think about the "Software Installation and Maintenance" feature. Is it just a networking feature or does it have a single machine application also?

If it's similar to the 2K version, that's simply for installing and managing applications through group policy within a domain. For home use, you should be fine.

I used to recommend Home to anyone who didn't have a domain controller or likely need for the extra network features. But, one gotcha to consider, if you think you might be interested in the new 'Smart Displays' (e.g. wireless LCD screens for XP), you'll need the Pro version to use them. So, if you think you might want to get one, might be easier to just start with Pro now.

Best,
Bill
