9to5 Google claims this is the Nexus 6/X.

I had a script on my machine running that notified me of the availability of the nexus 6 (via email and text). I was able to get the 32gb blue one. Yay!

Got a 32gb Midnight Blue.

Noted that it will ship from the warehouse in 2-3 weeks.

Confirmation email received so now I wait.

I'll give it a go vs my Oneplus One and see which comes out on top.

Yea the 64 gb may only come in blue. I may keep the 32 if I can't grab a white one. It's rare that I saw any white 64gb version pop up. Hopefully the order can still be cancelled if I do find one.

Motorola orders are live. I cancelled my Google play order and got a 64gb white from moto with their financing. The page said none available but I kept hitting process order, added and removed from cart and now I have an estimated delivery of Nov 26th. Very happy that I got the phone I wanted finally.

Also it's free shipping and they charged me less tax than Google.

Put one in the cart, but just couldn't pull the trigger at $690.
Wife would kill me if I spent that much on a phone when my N4 works perfectly fine.

I hate the size but just ordered one yesterday =(.

I actually hate the price even more, but Ill give it a chance.

I have the original Moto X that I still love, and I wasnt really tempted by any phone announced thus far.

Havent had a phablet, so this should be interesting. I have fairly big hands and handled my friend's IP6+ fine.

😛

Clearly you were tempted enough to snag a pre-order when it's tough to get one.

I would too but I want to use it on Verizon and Verizon is known to white list imei numbers. So they won't activate it if the number is not in their system. Either way if I don't get one, I'll get one when I can.

So far nobody is reporting any issues activating the nexus 6 from the play store on verizon.

That guy was talking about buying from T-Mobile and using it on Verizon. Motorola and play store orders will work fine on Verizon. I ordered my 64gb white from Motorola yesterday.

Looking forward to being able to put my hands on one when they arrive in stores next week. I'm 90% sure this will be my and my wife's next phone.

I would be interested to see if that will be an issue. There are only 2 models of the nexus 6, u.s. and international so it doesn't seem like it would matter where you buy it in order for it to work. I know verizon doesn't lock phones, but unless that happens on t-mobile or someone else, it should "just" work regardless of where the purchase was made.

Maybe I'm kidding myself, but perhaps we are finally getting devices to be universal here in the states.

For those that had planned on picking one up on Wednesday at T-Mobile check the list posted on Reddit (in the first post) as actual units for sale will be scarce but there should be demo units available.

No stores in Michigan will have units for sale.

Wow.. pretty sparse. I wonder if Google/Motorola underestimated the demand and purposely limited the production run. When the phone was initially announced, the reception was a bit lukewarm with a lot of people complaining about the size and eventually the price.

Perhaps they'll produce more depending on how the initial batch sells. I wonder if it will out-sell the One+ (best bang for the buck).

Yea they figured with a higher price and bigger screen they wouldn't have issues selling out but seems like it was quite the opposite. I also heard tmobile will not sell it to you if you are not a customer due to low stock. That and they want tmobile customers to get dibs rather than some random Joe that just wants to have the phone.

Smart. Putting customers over digital scalpers.

Seems at least $50 too much - other phones at $649 go for no more than $199 on contract. $249 feels like AT&T trying to take advantage of the limited initial availability - I'm guessing a locked bootloader as an extra bonus.

indeed. on contract prices for almost every phone drop to 0 within a few months anyway, so 250 is a cash grab for early adopters, plain and simple.

Nexus devices usually don't have locked boot loaders. Not sure about Att and Verizon but if you got a nexus you bought one for the ability to do what you wanted to it.
