9to5 Google claims this is the Nexus 6/X.

The note 3 is what? 5.6"? If so, a jump to 6" wouldn't bother me none. In fact I'd love it. I am perfectly fine with Note's size.

5.7", so just a .22" difference in screen size. Bezel size will probably play a bigger role in actual feel.

I am fairly vain when it comes to electronics and their looks.

I have owned an iPhone 4, iPhone 5, GN2, and Nexus 5 in the smart phone realm. Other than the small screen size I loved the industrial design of the iPhone 4. Did not like the iPhone 5 near as much and pretty much hated the GN2.

With that said, I love the look and feel of the Nexus 5. It feels solid while also being relatively compact. I also liked that the corners were not "Samsung Round". The corners were sharper.

I know we can only see the back of this phone, but the roundness of those corners is hideous to me. I will wait to see the final product before I make a real judgement, but so far it does looks as round as a Shamu to me.

Torn between this and the Note 4. If it wasn't for that 200 dollar rebate it'd probably be a no brainer in favor of the Nexus on the price difference but now we're talking only 150 dollar difference in a worst case scenario under the assumption the pricing is exactly the same as the Nexus 5 32GB which isn't necessarily a given. The Note will almost certainly have a better overall screen, camera and S-pen is always great to have.

Shamu sounds like a good idea.

The 6+ and Note 4 will sell like hot cakes at $749+ off-contract.

How do you think Shamu will sell at half that price?

I think it's on the wrong end of pocketability.

The G Pro 2 and the Flex never went anywhere despite some cool stuff... just too damn big.

"Based on new information we've seen today, I've put together this image that depicts - as faithfully as possible - what the Nexus 6 will look like."

Not quite confirmed since it's just a mockup image that was put together. Hopefully it's not bigger than 5.2, else whenever I upgrade it won't be this Nexus. It'll more likely be the Moto X.

6 inch screen.

Phablets are fine and I get that the Nexus is a developer device and Google obviously want developers to put a little love into those bridging sized devices, but...

... well, it would be nice to have a new Nexus phone as well.

It getting closer to a regular telephone handle hard wire telephone. Also, the Motorola "Wallstreet" Michael Douglas cellular phone too.

Nice! Is it clutchable? LOL!

Way too big for me, my Nexus 5 is already at the very limits of one handed use.

I was in Target today and held my phone up against at Note 3, which I imagine will be similar in size to the Nexus 6, and yea that's damn huge. Looks like I'll pass 🙁 maybe Android L will keep me from wanting to upgrade anyway.

What is that below the power button? Is it a micro sd card slot? Or is that the volume rocker? Isn't the volume rocker usually on the left side of the device?

Edit, looking more closely, i see that it is probably the volume rocker since there is no cut out from the bumpers on the left side for it. I seem to recall seeing somewhere (possibly just posts above) that said they moved it to be used with one hand. Weird.

I am sure you're right. I hope that means they're closer to release than rumours are letting on. I'm starting to actively search to replace my N5 with a cracked screen.

That may suggest that the device is a Motorola phablet or that as some rumours suggest the the Nexus 6 is just the "rebranded" Moto phablet, so it wont have all of the Nexus characteristics.

I'm holding my breath though. AP had a reputation with their leaks and this may also suggest that this is the next Nexus phone.

Personally I believe it's the Nexus 6, but I also think it will look a lot more like the Moto X 2nd then the Nexus 5/7.

Motorola will just send Dave Burke, to the MotoMaker page to "configure" the Nexus 6 "as they like".

I'll upgrade from my Nexus 4. Wife will balk at the size, but I am willing to bet that within a month of me owning she will want one.

Heh, after going from my large Android phones to just relying on the work issued iPhone 5, my wife keeps telling me she likes me better when I have an Android phablet.

Yeah, I'm not so sure about such a big Nexus. I like my Nexus 5. It is big, but still fits fine in my pocket and I can manage most things with one hand on it. Note 3 and other bigger phones just seem a bit much for my use.
