:confused:

I'm afraid to leave this FX-60 machine. I think that if I do my wu's will finish, and then the machine will not get work on it's own. WU's are not loading up the way that they should. I am unable to get a WU until after I have completed one -- and then I can only get it with a manual update.

... more messeges.

A wu finished and uploaded. I used a manual update to send it -- a new wu was downloaded. More downloads were attempted, but the server would not send them. When a new wu is downloaded and started, time to completion is over 30 hours! In reality it only takes about an hour to complete the wu.

I think that my machine is not being loaded up because the server thinks that my machine will not be able to complete the wu on time.

er... uh sorry for the panic.

I've been watching the machine. Within a few minutes of completion of a wu communication occurs on it's own. The sesults are sent, and a new wu is downloaded. I would like to be able to load up the machine, but I can't.

I took a zaprazadone, and my mind is winding down. I'm going to bed. In the morning, I'll do like many of you and drink a pot of coffee and look to see how many credits I earned during the night.

night all. sleep tight. ARS Technica has not caught us yet.

:) Good night. And ARS Technica has been hanging around on our arse for quite some time, but they haven't caught us. As far as I'm concerned, inhaling our dust is a perfect place to be. :D :beer:

I got the same problem on all of my boxes. Down to almost zero work. Only when a WU finishes, a new one is downloaded. Hate that! :|

I had that problem on one of my boxes. I "reset" the project and it downloaded all the software over again but it refilled my cache with a full day's worth of WUs :)

very helpful!! I snoozed the tasks and exited BOINC. Then I went to the time stats portion of the client_state.xml file and changed the on-frac from 0.19202 to 0.952022.

I restarted BOINC. I also asked the computer to cache files for an additional 2.5 days in the general and local preferences.

Then for good measure I snoozed, exited, and restarted BOINC again.

I now have 2 wu's running and 4 waiting.

very nice. Thank you very much.

You're the man!!! :beer::p:beer:

My cache has been set to 5 days all the time we did MC so far and I never had a problem. Now I lowered it to 2 days and guess what - my pipes are filled with WUs again!

Thx biodoc!
