Thank you for informing everyone about this deal. I've been waiting a while to find this drive for a great price. $99.99 + about $7 for shipping is a great deal. I get a 7% employee discount through my company with Dell. Even using that, zipzoomfly's price was still lower by a couple bucks. Add in the $2 Microsoft Cashback and that made the deal just a little sweeter. Thanks again!
 
Seagates had some issues, and YMMV as to what version you get.

Get the WD, I have one (gf got me one for xmas) and it's been great. I'm just waiting for it to drop more in price.

Are the foam 'coffins' good or do you call them that because the drives arrive DEAD?

I actually ordered this drive from the Dell deal a few weeks ago. Their packaging was excellent, double boxed with the inside box using the plastic ends that suspend the drive in the middle.

Love this drive, may pick up a couple more to upgrade my other rigs.
 
I grabbed one of these retail at Fry's a week ago. I'm very happy and impressed with the performance.
Much faster than the Seagate 7200.9 I was using.
 
Man, I just bought one last week for $120. Wonder if they'll issue a credit? Is ZZF as accommodating in that regard as Newegg?
