Currently running Win98SE, but had same problem with First Edition.
Every time I use Windows Explorer it starts off fine, but the longer I use it the slower it gets - getting to the point where it's taking several seconds to open a directory/sub-directory. This is applicable regardless of the direction of navigation or the folders accessed.
I have a PII 400, 256Mb RAM, and virtual memory set to 384Mb min/max. HDD is a Seagate 6.4Gig @ 5400rpm on Primary Master, plenty of space left on it, but I have ALWAYS had this problem, any ideas?
