~~~ 9800pro AIW Issues??~~~
EXman
Lifer
After awhile 2-3 hours watching TV and browsing my puter is still running and I continue to here the sound but my LCD blacks out and says NO SIGNAL.
I played CS Source for almost 2 hours last night but It didn't happen. But it has happened almost once a day for last few days.
I had a 9700pro AIW in this for a year w/o a problem... Could this 9800pro eat too much power from my Antec P412X PSU? Hmm driver issue?
#2Also My remote wonder 2 USB reciever needs a driver when I plug it in I have MMC installed 9.0 I believe but it doesn't have it what am I missing? I've been looking at ATI but have not found a fix...
any help would be appreciated 🙂
I doubt it is a PSU issue, but to be sure how is your 12v rail. I would make sure to check the VGA/DVI cable and make sure it is not crapping out on you. Are you using the latest Cat's?
the 12v rail is fine 12.48 v
the DVI cable is of highest quality and has not changed for 11 months. I might switch over to analog to see if that wipes it out but I think that is more of a longshot but a if it was a lower quality that could be a problem.
My cat is a older one recommended for this AIW forgot what the # is but it is 5/15/2004 as the date.
Ex...check the DVI's refresh rate or try lowering the resolution...also make sure that the DVI is on with the LCD ...
Remote problem may be due to anUSB DEVICE CONFLICT ...from the site
If the USB device is incorrectly installed, the receiver will be listed in the device manager as a non-working device. To resolve this try plugging the USB remote receiver into a different USB port to force Windows to re-detect the hardware, or if this doesn't work, follow these steps:
Open the Control Panel.
Select System.
Click on the Device Manager tab.
Select the USB Receiver. This will have a yellow exclamation mark on it.
Select Remove.
Select Refresh.
I would try the 5.3 cat's. They are good for AIW cards.
