9800np vs. 9600 pro

I grabbed the last BB ati 9800np from a local BB yesterday. It has similar performance to a 9600 pro, which I had for awhile but now a dud at newegg's warehouse.

9800np has a smoother feel, but the 9600pro gives me slightly higher performance. Anyway, I won't know for sure until I receive a good 9600pro.

By the way, what's the most stable cat driver? Cheater or not, Nvidia's driver is solid.

That, and the newest is typically the best, at least in my experience, unless there are some huge issues that come out right away, which hasn't happened yet. Also, if the 9600 Pro felt faster, maybe you were looking at a 9800 SE?
