9800NP (soft modded to pro) vs 6600 vs 6600GT.

I currently have an aus a7n8x, 1g DDR500 (Adata Vitesta - its cas 2.5) with a Barton 2400. I have a 9800NP that is soft modded to open the extra pipes and is set just below pro speeds.

I bought 2 raptors a while ago, and long story short, the raptors would not play nicely with my present system, probably because I overclock and the lack of SATA lock on this chipset.

I am considering upgrades, but am really torn. I am presently playing WoW, and don't really play FPS type games. I generally play online games (WoW, DAOC, etc).

I can not decide whether to get an Nforce4 or stick with something like a Nforce3 Ultra.

I plan to get a 939 3200+ for CPU either way.

The way I see it, it mostly depends on the video card. If I get nforce 4, I need to get PCIe card and probably a new PS (native 24pin). If I get an Nforce3 Ultra, I can stick with my present card, or get a new AGP later. I have seen that the APG and PCIe 6600 benches are about the same, at least in some compariisons.

Bottom Line: The Nforce4 will cost me much more, between the extra $50 for the MB, the $50-100 for the native 24 pin PS, and the new video card (PCIe). Will I see a big difference between my present video card and a 6600 or 6600GT. If so, should I just stick with an AGP 6600 or 6600GT and still get the Nforce3 Ultra and save the $100-150 over the nforce 4 system?
 
Just curious, but why go 754? The 939 and 754 are about the same price; both the CPU's and the MB's. If i get a 939 now, I leave my options open to get a new MB later, without having to get a new CPU (if I don't want to). The 745 solution offers no upgradability other than a complete system overhall.
 
I have several psu's around. All however, are probably cheap ones as they came with the packaged cases. If I go Nforce4, I will spend the money on a new PS. Frankly, money is not the issue. I can afford both options. I do however, get a little upset when I get the whole thing together and say, "hum...this is no faster than it was before."
