Call me stupid but after installing this card, I see two Display devices in my Control Panel/Device Manager/Display Adapters

Raedon 9800
Raedon 9800 Secondary

What is up with that?

Also everytime I boot up My top 3 icons on my right side move over to the left hand side of the screen? Any Ideas?

I am running Win XP Home

Windows sees your Radeon 9800 pro as two display devices because the card is capable of dual output. So, you can control each output as its own screen with different resolutions, etc.

mine is the same with 9600 Pro. Good thing I read this thread, I thought I had screwed something up, lol.

I have the same thing on a Radeon 9600 Pro. As said above it only really matters if you have dual-monitors.

OK Cool. Thanks...Like I said I installed the Raedon 9800 128MB PRO Card to my PC

AMD 2Gig XP Chip
512MB Ram
Soyo Dragon Plus Motherboard.

My card Stats say the following..Can anyone else confirm these numbers to match the PRO card? Also What do you think of my 3Dmark03 Number, I ran tests at 1024x768 and used the balanced setting for both Open GL and Direct 3d, Anti-Aliasing NONE, Texture Filtering Optimal, Max Anisotropy =4

GPU Clock 378MHZ
Ramdac 400MHZ
Pxel pipline 8
Transistors 117 Million
Memory - Real Clock 338
VGA Memory Clock 337.5Mhz
VGA Core Clock 378.0 MHZ

3Dmark03 Number below

5281

I am using the new Catalyst 3.9 Drivers for the card

Any Input would be great!

I have the sapphire 9800pro card with the same core & memory clock, my 3dmark03 score is 5574 (bench it twice n it gave me almost the same score).

That 3d mark score does seem alittle low I got a new BBA Radeon Pro 128mb about a month ago and it scores in the 5700's out of the box with no tweaking what so ever.I am running 3.8's.

Should I bother rolling them back to 3.8 (Drivers)? When I installed the card, it installed the 3.2 drivers.

How would I go about over clocking this card?
