We had a small network setup with all 98SE workstations and a Novell 5.1 server. One of the
ws seems to be missing from the workgroup. It can see the server so that this could not be a
hardware problem but it cannot see the other members on the network. We tried to delete
everything from CONTROL PANEL -> NETWORK -> and redo everything there. Now it can see
each other by clicking the 'Network neighbour' but when we tried to install WinfaxPro Ver.10
on it as a fax server, other ws (as fax client) said that WinfaxPro cannot find this particular ws
when launching. We tried to do a dos 'ping' at all ws and all can see each other expect this
one. Using the 'network neighbour', we can copy file to & from this particular ws to others.
Does anybody has any idea what is going on?

Your help will be much appreicated.

Best regards.

Do you have File and Printer Sharing enabled on that particular workstation which is missing from workgroup?

If you can not ping, then TCP/IP is messed up. Make sure TCP/IP is set right. Make sure your cable is plugged in, at both ends. Go to a DOS prompt and type WINIPCFG and see if an IP address has been assigned, if it has not, assign one.
