I unplugged my 1.7GHz computer from the network to work on a clients computer for a hour or so, and I forgot to plug it back in 🙁. Now my production dropped and I can not get it back in for a few more days as I will not be in the vacinity :|.

Damn I hate making stupid mistakes like that 😱

Dasm 🙁

I have done stuff like that before, either forgetting to plug something back in, or forgetting to start a program running, or forgetting to set a service install to Automatic rather than Manual, and leaving it for a few days 😱

Dang, thats not good. I'm sure we've all done it a couple times. Kicked ourselves because we forgot to plug our computers in, how geeky is that?. 🙂

Anyway, I thought this was going to turn into another Shuxclam's post. (The homer simpson thingy 🙂 )

That's why I at least use SetiDriver and have a 2-3 cache of WUs on each machine in case something like that happens.

SW runs Seventeen Or Bust, which, at this time, doesn't have a way of caching. Hopefully in a later client, tho....
