Just got my replacement Motherboard a few days ago but I noticed my max vcore voltage on my 9700k is pretty high with max of 1.320v I believe this is why my temperatures are registering the max of 75c from gaming.

I was wondering if anyone knew if this was normal? I am using HWMonitor. I don't think it was like this before the replacement. At least I don't remember my temperatures ever reaching 75c.

Anyone with a 9700k confirm if this is normal? I am running all stock except XMP profile.

1.3-1.35v seems pretty common for an "OC" voltage...most MOBOs are using enhanced or all core turbo settings "stock" and increasing the voltage to compensate.
If that's the max peak voltage it should be safe though. I think fully Intel stock settings it'd be in the 1.25v range.

As far as temps, what kind of cooler do you have? Did you clean and then apply new paste when reassembling?
And again, a max of 75c is a safe temperature for a 9700k.

Sure you could reduce both if you wanted.

MCE - Multicore Enhancement - can cause high voltage/temp and cause the CPU to boost beyond its TDP for extended periods of time. 1.32v is actually pretty tame compared to what a 9700k can do when boosting to 4.9 GHz. Some users have witnessed voltages of 1.4v or higher:

Well I updated BIOS (Reversed to an older version) and so far I am not going over 1.260v gonna test more today to make sure. Seems it was something to do with the newer BIOS.
